Sorry, havent had time to update....So.....before junior nationals, I came down with the flu and was not able to cut weight, lift, and overall just felt like complete crap......was not worth it to me to risk any harm pushing it....so i shut it down for a few weeks and really focused on recovering and getting back....my next meet will be the powerstation pro/am...I won the 148 pro division last yr so I am looking to at the least repeat that. training has been more volume as of now, just getting my body back into shape....i'll update more as I get a better idea of what my training cycle will look like. I appreciate everyones support and encouragement leading up to junior nationals! Sorry for the let down, but come August 20th I'll be ready to roll!

Our gym benches in shirts on saturday, but I will be out of town this weekend, so I decided to do floor press raw lifting for the first time in a while.

bar x reps
135 x 10
225 x 5
275 x 5
315 x 1 (shoulder hurt after this one so I shut it down.

decline

225 x 3 x 10

lats and delt work

My body has been up and down getting over being sick and my weight is going crazy....one day i could be 160 the next 170....once I get that under control and get some more consistency I think i'll be ok.

squatted today:

barx10
145x5
235x5
325x3

added briefs

415x1
505x1

wraps and bands

595x1
685x1

Speed pulls:

315 bar weight....quad mini band for 6x2

GHR 6x10, abs 6x25

This workout felt great...hitting depth very easy. Monday was also a squat workout (ME). I work up to 505x1 with 250 pounds band tension at the top off a 14 in. box in briefs and wraps. It went smooth, not a smoke show, but felt good. for being 11 weeks out still, I think this was a very good sign. My body weight is still all over th place, but I cut back on cardio last week, so hopefully i'll get it under control. Keep pushing foward!
