Default WeVie's Picture Log

I would like to start a picture log. The first one is from the end of summer of 2008. I starting working out about middle of March 2009. The second picture is from November 2009 or right around there. Like I said in a different thread, I starting traveling for work all the time. I was only home for for 5 to 10 days a month. Of course I could have did better but hotels make it hard. Anyway, the last picture is taken today. I am ten pounds heavier today than I was in that second picture. I will update my pictures every week or two. Hopefully I will start seeing some good progress.

Great progress! Very inspirational. It won't take much muscle to make a big impact. Looks like you have a solid upper body base to work with.

Yeah, I got a little something to work with. I just need to do some work. It's about time to hit the gym. Tonight is chest and back.

I may as well keep my workout log here as well. Feel free to share your thoughts.

I will be lifting in Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursdays with a little cardio after. Monday and Wednesday will be cardio and abs.

4/24/2011

warm up on elliptical 1.30 miles @ 11:00 minutes

Bench Press 125lbs 3 X 8
Dead Lift 225lbs 2 X 6
Fly 100lbs 3 X 8 too light I think
Lat PullDown 50lbs 3 X 8 little heavy on last set

With each lift, I always do three warm-up sets starting pretty light with first set and about 30 pounds from work set on third warm-up set.

Treadmill 10 minutes @ 7.1 mph
2 minutes @ 3.5 mph and 1.5 incline Total distance-1.30 mile

Bike 17:25 minutes for 5 miles

Strong work.

I think the weight ion the presses is just right. You want to be in that zone where you are pushing yourself close to failure, but not too failure.
