yeah, it hurts lol! But I am pretty sure I can squat over 5 with the SSB, so should be pretty easy on a regular bar. Not bad for having to take off 4 months!

Haha - I imagine I will end up in gear sooner or later. I am the only raw lifter on the crew. I asked about it and they told me it's best to reach my raw max first. Not sure when that will be tho.

Trust me - it's plenty hard enough. I am just a focused and a highly motivated machine right now. Something happened to me in Vegas. I think the whole experience and the gap between me and the 3rd place lifter has had a big effect on me mentally. Having the honor of lifting a program written by yourself has also been a big time inspiration to me. When you offered to help me I couldn't sleep that night because I was so excited. I finally feel like I am tapping into my potential.

seated shoulder press dumbbells 4x10
band push downs 4x10
front raises 4x10

My left tri is really weak, and of course my peck is as well. It took no time for it to be full of blood. Another day, another step in the right direction.

They are right. I normally suggest that most people squat over 500lbs before they start playing with squat gear, and even then start slow. Knee wraps on the other hand is a different story.

Best Meet Lifts:
Squat = 325
Bench = 210
Dead = 353
Total = 888

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
