You shouldn't feel embarrassed JB as I thought that was one of the most inspirational posts I have ever read. Your so smart and know your body so well it really drives the point home to me that I need to be even more in tune to my own body. That will serve me well in the likely event I lose my sight in the coming years.

I know it's frustrating but once you're back, the mental strength that you're gaining will make you an even better competitor. I tell people I know about your injury and almost all say that they would give up straight away. Stay strong.

still fighting this sinus infection, so waited till everyone was out of the gym.

Squats with SSB
3x8@135
2x8@235
2x5@325 added knee wraps
1x8@415 added belt (these reps were ugly)
1x3@465 paused for 3 count each rep, much better depth

Well both my abductors are super sore, hamstrings are sore, but it was worth it. I guess these are pretty strong for the SSB. Hopefully I will go over 500 in a few weeks. Think I am going to start working in briefs some at that point. I feel like raw each week will make some nasty nagging injuries. Hats off to you raw nuts haha!
