If it's May 3rd, we will both be lifting that day. No pressure for me either. Be healthy and confident going in and everything will fall into place, is my motto.

Took my beat up and broken body to the gym last night and helped one of the guys in his meet prep.

Did some light training

5x10 band flies
5x10 standing hammer curls
5x10 band push downs

On paper this seemed simple, but it was far from it!
Warm ups
Squat
5x5@330 no rest, going about every minute, 2 tops.
Bench
5x5@225
Deads
5x5@275 last few sets.

We did the whole workout in less than 1hr including warm ups. Insane back pump, and my legs are already sore!

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.
