Hope you heal up rapidly. I guess this is the price you pay for being ultra-elite!

A little update about where I am and whats going on.

Today makes 2 weeks since the injury. I still have a few red patches of blood, and some nasty bruising on my elbow and forearm. There is a nice size knot on my peck, and one were my bicep tendon ties into it. I have gotten a lot of ROM back. My first attempt at an MRI was a fail. It was suppose to be a stand up, but it wouldn't get a good picture. They tried to fit me in their mobile unit, and it wasn't even close! I am going tomorrow a few towns over, they have a jumbo unit. Injury is making progress, and I am feeling like the tendons are in tack. Hopefully the MRI comes back good and I can continue to make rehab gains.

FYI if I can get my arm behind the bar, doing some light squats tonight.

How they even thought of putting you in their mobile unit ... they must have got shock of their life ...

Hope that injury subsides at earliest and you return to your best ... keep lifting and motivating JB ...

Ask the doc about ultra-sound treatment J. It's helpful. Mike used it when he tore his pec.
Scar tissue is a sort of mass of tissue, with the fibers running all different directions. Because it has no elasticity you are prone to getting a tear in the same area again.
Ultra-sound helps the scar tissue to lay itself out with the fibers running in the same direction. Helps with the healing process and helps it to be less likely for the scar tissue to tear loose again in the future.
You have to start the treatment early on though. The sooner the better.

Did some rehab on Tuesday

3x10 internal and external rotation with the band
3x30 second holds with door frame stretch
3x15 rear delt pulls (face down on bench) (10lbs)
bench
2x8@bar
1x30@bar

3x15@15lbs arnold press

Got my MRI today. Took over an hr to get a good picture. Was so hot in there I dumped a lb of sweat! The shirt they gave me to wear, I had to get the nurse to pull it off me. Should get results read tomorrow. Looked at pics my self, but have no clue what I am looking at. There is a big white blob on it lol!

Didn't know how bad the injury was but regardless no excuses you will be back at it in no time, just stay up on the rehab and g.p.p.

Your one big bad strong mofo so as long as your limbs are connected to your body you will figure out a way to get stronger.

SFW!
