A2G Zercher Squats: 155/8/8/8/6/6/6/6/6/6/5/5/5/5/5/5/5/5
Total reps: 100. Total time: 59 minutes.
I just want to roll over and die now.
Congrats on doing the 100 and within the hour, take a 60-second break you deserve it

Well, I can walk, but I'm walking kinda funny. Had to do some work at the church today - loading up & dropping off a new stove, so that helped work some of the DOMS out. Not all of it by any means though.

5/3/1 Press & Dynamic Bench

So today I am short on time since we've got church commitments. Ugh.. the wife and I seem to get volunteered for everything whether we have time or not. Well, I've got to get in, get the workout in, shower, change, and get to the church event. Whee fun. So I started right into the YTWL's, then came:

Press (Warmup): 45/5 45/5 95/5
Press (3@70%): 135/3
press (3@80%): 155/3
Press (3+@90%): 175/7
DE Bench Press: 185/3 185/3 185/3 185/3 185/3
Unassisted Negative Pulldowns: 1/1/1
Face Pulls: 160/12 180/12 200/12 (doin the stack, YEAH BABY!)

And that was it. Total time: about 45 minutes. I MIGHT have had another press rep in me, but I didn't want to push things too far today. The negative pullups are getting much stronger, and I'm trying to do one positive after the negative. Still have a ways to go on those... but I'm definitely improving. Hopefully I'll be cranking out unassisted pullups within the next month or two - THAT would be a sight. I just hope the pullup bars can handle it The DE bench felt pretty good -- I'm getting a pretty solid explosion off the chest, and the face pulls I managed to work up to doing the entire stack. Granted, the effective weight is half of that since it's essentially a block and tackle system, but it's still the entire freakin' stack. BOOYA!

Strong lifting mate. Are those presses Military Presses or Push presses?
Also those squats look like death, indeed a great effort.

I can't believe you were able to lift again, to be honest. I thought your teeth would hurt after that 100 rep challenge, and you would be in bed all day.

@carl: yeah, doing the stack is lots of fun. Now I need to find some way to increase resistance. Hmmm...

@ripped: those were (mostly) strict military presses. I use a little bit of knee pop to get the weight moving, and a little forward sway of the torso, but nowhere near the leg drive of a push press.

@BtB; yeah, I couldn't either. Actually things are even worse today, since I didn't get more than about 2 hours of sleep last night. This morning I was moving in slow motion. Working in the IT business really sucks sometimes.
