JB, well, the program has me doing a single for 525 on week 11. I figure if I can hit that, I'll consider this program a serious WIN. I figure my true 1RM is somewhere around 475-485 right now (455 is pretty easy, but I can't quite get that elusive 495). Depending on how I react to this, I may end up taking a week or two deload after this cycle and run it again.

Nothing really to see here today. Just did the deload for the military press & bench press:

Press (Warmup): 45/5 45/5 45/5
Press (5@40%): 80/5
Press (5@50%): 100/5
Press (5@60%): 120/5
Bench Press (Warmup): 45/5 95/5
Bench Press (5@40%): 125/5
Bench Press (5@50%): 155/5

So the only excitement today was that I nudged my grip out by a finger's width to the forefingers just barely touching the rings. This is going to take some getting used to, but I definitely felt it in the pecs a bit more today. I'll try this for this cycle and see where it gets me. I felt really good after the workout and went off in search of a PL-friendly gym I heard rumors of in the McKinney area. Unfortunately either it's not really there or my directions are off. I'll look again later after doing some more research.

The left shoulder was a tad bit more sore from this than usual, but not horribly so. I'll not be pressing the # of reps as hard this cycle, and I will be foregoing the usual 5lb increase until I can get the hang of this and get my bench at or above my strength levels with the narrower grip.
