Haha - thanks guys. Indeed, it may seem like too much on the surface, but it really wasn't for that particular day, especially keeping in mind I have done this weight for 4-5 reps and 500 X2 before. I also had a bit of steam to blow off. It was pretty quick session - half hour tops

One of the healthiest, if not the, and strongest geezers in Canada! The two go hand in hand at my age as well.

Thanks Jio!

BENCH DELOAD

It was difficult not to at least do a few heavy singles, training with the crew, but I somehow managed to contain myself lol. I should probably stay at home next time when deloading.

I also wrote a testimonial for Lisa's website today, and then I started to reminisce about my squat at the meet last May, and about how so damn fortunate I am to have been even able to do it. When you think about all the things that had to come together during the last couple of years.....

Bench Press
All Paused with commands
225 X6 singles.

Military Press

100 x12
100 X12
100 x12

Nice wts. for deload super Jim ... but 100*12*3 is not deload ...

I'm fortunate to a viewer to your total turnaround in last 2 years. From a person who was about to give up lifting totally to one of the healthiest person @ his age group with some Canadian records under his belt ... the journey is not easy one but you along with Lisa make it look like a smooth one ... But I know it was not as easy for you ... I repeat "YOU WERE / ARE AND WILL " remain my hero not only because of your lifting capabilities but also because the person you are .. take a bow Sir ...
