Thanks Nard Yes, I'm on a cut still, except now I am into it mentally. My goal is 200 lbs. Last week I was 225, down from 227.4 the week before. Next weigh-in is tomorrow!!

5'9" and 200 will look awesome on ya! That's about the size of a lot of NFL Half-backs.

SQUAT DAY 07/26/11

Squat

I proceeded to do some Front Squats after the back squats, but on the first set I felt some irritation in my low back, so I aborted and called it a session. I am not about to take any chances. It appears as tho my back was telling me it doesn't like more volume than what I already did with the back squats.

The squats felt great. Really strong with no back irritation. Next week, I am just going to do my warmup and then 3 working sets, followed by BB Hack Squats and some GHR's.

Overall, really excited that some decent amount of weight on the back squats did not bother my back. I think I will add 5-10 lbs per week to ease my way back up to 315 and beyond.
