Superb session super Jim ... Since you have already conquered 300, 315 will fall it is just some matter of time ... Strong working and volume on all the other lifts ... Very very happy for you that your tremors are somewhat settling down. Hopefully this trend continues ... keep up the inspirational work Superman ...

Really, really pleased with how today panned out, which is saying alot considering it is a bench session, which has never been my forte. But I'm working on making it at least forte-ish!

All benching was smooth and controlled with no grinders. I did miss a 315 2 board attempt, but it was just going to be gravy just go for it lift anyway. I missed it because I lost tightness big time on it.

The biggest news is that my tremors seemed to have settled down considerably and barely noticeable today. Additionally, they were non existent during my deadlift and squat session last Wednesday.

Not sure if my new rock pillow is a factor in this, but it just might be. I received it as an Xmas gift from Mrs Squatter, as recommended by Lisa. If I had seen it on an infomercial or something, I would have been skeptical, but since Lisa said I need it, I can trust that.

This is the pillow:

As well, me eyesight seems to be improving, especially my night and peripheral vision, which were the first to go during the height of my Birdshot last winter. I am still so shocked and emotional I am beating a disease that was pretty much guaranteed to make me lose functional vision, which really is a a nicer way to say blindness of varying degrees.

Maybe, just maybe, this will be yet another medical miracle for me. It's still really early to tell, but I got a feeling this pillow is just fucking amazing. If I keep improving, I am aso going to order the Biomat.

Fingers crossed and prayers every night.

Thanks Ravi!! I have dome 315 with boards before, but it has been quite awhile. Bench took a bit of a dive aand beating the last few months, but seems to be headed in the right direction now. Deadlift has taken a bit of a dive of late.

Thanks Rich!! Indeed, I am quite relieved the tremors have settled down. I am hoping that the pillow has had something to do with it.

SQUATATRON SESSIONS WEEK 3 DAY 4 SQUAT

Absolutely jumping for joy on that 400 squat without wraps, as I felt really stable and solid. That is the most weight I have squatted without wraps in quite sometime. I have been progressing in non wrapped squats for quite sometime. I never wear my wraps with the mentality, "oh great, I can now lift more weight." I only wear them when I feel I need the stability they provide to avoid injury. I simply will never miss out on an opportunity to lift more weight just because it may be considered by some that wraps should not be used.

I got annoyed at one of the Crew members today when she said "don't wear the wraps so often"! I wore them for 1 single today. Big deal. I don't wear them all the time. She simply will never understand what it's like to lift in a almost 50 year old natty body with unpredictable tremors sometimes, which in any sport is considered to be way over the hill and past prime.

Wraps are perfectly legal equipment at most meets, so I am going to use them when I feel it is beneficial to my training - end of story. I will never feel guilty when I do decide to wrap up. If somebody doesn't like it they can go shove it.

Squats
Bar (55) X5
105 X5
145 X5
195 X3
235 X3
285 X2
325 X1
375 X1
400 X1
420 x1 (Wraps)
A bit of lean on the 420, so I knew I was done for heavy work today. I thought I nailed the depth tho!
Backoff (no Wraps)
285 X5
255 X6
200 X8

GHR
BW X5
BW X6
BW X5

Too tired to do any more accessory work. Shoveling snow every 2 days is taking a toll.
