You can send flowers. Mrs Squatter was quick to point out that I am an idiot wrapped into a moron.

OK Rich - I guess it was just me then. Thanks for making me feel better!

Haha - well, the internal medicine specialist did tell me I have the internal cell structure of aa 25 y/o, so I should only have to do 25.

SQUAT CHALLENGE

Squat Challenge set by Chris was to accomplish my BW (210) X my age in reps (49) in 1 or 2 sets total. Sucks to be a Fossil in this case lol.

Well, I did it!! I needed 2 sets, but it was within the challenge. I think I would have been able to get to 40 reps if I didn't have this cold and if I was fresher going in, and perhaps might have been able to gut out 10 more, who knows. C/V system was giving me fits due to the damn cold. Legs were just fine and felt like they could handle 100 reps. Lower back started to squawk after the 20th rep on the 2nd set. Happy I didn't lean on any reps.

F-bomb dropped after 20th rep on the first set as it hit me that I would have to 29 on the 2nd set. Throat was already on fire and lower back pump insane after the 1st set. Rested 5 minutes and I have no idea how I got 29 on the 2nd set. It seemed like I had to gut out 29 reps lol.

Thought I was going to cough up a lung after taking a sip of my Ark 3 after-wards.

Interesting is the strategy and dynamics of high rep sets. Should one do some heavier singles beforehand to make the work set feel lighter? Does one go fast at first or pace oneself? How deep to go? It seems the strategy changes often intra set.

Super strong session super Jim .. finally 300 bench even if it is with sling shot ... but I'm sure that very soon it will be 100% RAW ... And yes those rows and presses are HEAVY .... great lifting brother ...

The insanity continues Sunday as I have to do a 50 repper squat @210 lbs to complete a challenge I foolishly accepted haha. I have been given 2 sets to complete the 50 reps, but I want to do it in 1 in order to qualify as a Monster.
I can see DOMs ... hahaha ... best luck super Jim ...

Gotta love it Jim! If you do manage to crawl out of the house today, you may have to valet the car.
