Well, I hope you understand I didn't mean to imply your knees weren't coming out. It's just hard to tell sometimes. If you are feeling them and focusing on them then it is good.

For guys with bellies, which is most of us, it is good to picture opening your legs to drop your belly in, if that makes sense. So a little more might help...but mileage may vary.

Nah Steve, I know it haas been an issue for me of late, and if both you and Carl could not see them <> (and Carl thought they may be going in a tad) then they must not be going out enough I did feel them <> but I'm not sure how much while doing the squat. I'll do my best to push them <> more so that it is noticeable.

What is noticable is my belly LOL I remember your comment prior about opening the knees to make a hole for the belly to fit in to. Hehe - it helps to remember form points when they are funny, like the f*cking the bar cue on deadlifts.

Keep plugging away Jim, you will get there. I believe everyone has something that hurts/needs fixing/form issues/etc.

Thanks Mike. I wasn't quite sure how to handle it as I really have never been injued before, other than a pesky forearm issue that was easy to work around. It's during times like these when the forum is especially crucial to my training.

BENCH PRESS 07/7/11

Everything was A-OK with the back this AM. I took a bit of a risk with the dips, as they caused a strain in my mid back last time. Pleased to report dips did not cause any problem this time. I'll take that as a sign the old back is improving.
