Thanks Kuyt! My big rule is to never leave the gym I satisfied as there is always other lifts I can do if need be. This is why I was so happy after the rows.

DEADLIFTS

Today I discovered it is not a great idea for me to pull 2X per week like last week. Although I pulled a 440 raw tonight quite well, I knew aafter-wards the tank was draining fast. I then decided to pull 405 and barely made it - not a grinder but was way tougher than normal. So called it a day for deads and went on to squat.

I figured I would do fivers until my body told me it was sick of reps, and then do some singles with the knee wraps. It was good practice tonight using them. Man, I just love squatting with them. The hardest thing about wearing them is walking the weight out. I am quite confident 405 and more will fall really soon on a crew day using the monolift. Another bonus will be having somebody wrap for me.

The 380 single tonight represents the most weight I have squatted since my winter of hell - pretty much since the Vegas meet last November. The 440 deadlift is also the most I have pulled raw since that meet. So, all in all I am just thrilled with the proceedings tonight.
