Love it! Apparently your gym doesn't have the 'NO DROPPING WEIGHTS' Policy?

Haha! Someone else's program always looks easier on paper than it really is !

That has got to be nice being able to drop the bar on cleans. Must help conserve more energy for the lift!

WRT the Meadows rows, I would suggest using 25's instead of 45's. They are much easier to use and less bulky than plates.

Thanks Randy! Just like any new routine, there is some dialing in to do. I think it was just an off day, as I have done 185X13 before.

Haha - indeed they do not. It's a powerlifting/Olympic lifting facility - about as far away from Planet Fitness as you can get.

Ya, hoping it helps to get my cleans to 200+. Lots of oly platforms/bumper plates there. Only problem with using the 25's is that they are the same size as the 45's - likely becaus eit's also an oly lifting facility.

Nice deadlifting Jim!! That's a wicked PR for sure. 440 for 5 wil be awesome.

Yeah cleans are the hardest cardio I've ever done! haha.

High rep benching, not for the faint of heart that's for sure. Good start. You'll adapt quickly.

Might have to see if I can make it down to Florida next summer.

Very strong pressing session! I have always wanted to incorporate Cleans into my training. Maybe after I finish my current Cycle.

Great job Jim!

Thanks Mike!! The more the merrier in Florida!

Cleans will be a work in progress. Will be interesting. I wnated to do hook grip right from the start as it will pay off when the bar gets heavy.

I finally got my squat back! The bonus 315 single felt light as a feather, along with everything else for that matter. I used wraps for the 3 singles and absolutely loved them during the lift. Did not love them while wrapping and walking tho lol. I think I did a pretty good job for the first time considering they helped make the lifts feel better, more stable, and even easier.

My massage yesterday really paid off as well. My knees felt just great with no problems whatsoever. My lower back and thumb were also 100%. In fact, my whole body was 100%.

Super happy happy dances after the deads were really an expression of how excited I was to get my squat back and to be able to pull well just 3 days after the big rep PR's of Thursday. When I am healthy anything can happen. I simply took what my body was able to give me today. No more, no less.

See what y'all have created?

One last thing, my weight is now just 207. 2 lbs away from my goal, and yest I am the strongest I have ever been.

I almost twice after watching your high rep videos. 230x20 is definitely puke worthy as well as dl'ing 325x12.

Very very strong training session Super Jim Almighty!

Always enjoy your "Happy Dances"!

Congrats on big 20 rep PR!
