Thanks Big J! Indeed, I'll nurse it back to health. I have thought about it!! "Deader" perhaps haha. Or maybe Puller!

I haven't done shrugs in awhile because they used to hurt my lower back. Yesterday was all OK tho! I'll think I'll leave power shrugs out tho - too risky for me. Pull Ups were done to help decompress and for a bit of practice, and curls were just for fun.

Thanks Alan!! It seems to be OK, but still a bit tender. I think I'll book a massage. I was a bit surprised I was strong on deads since I just did them on Thursday!

Thanks Randy! Leg seems fine now, however, I now feel a tweak in my outer right hip area. Not lower back, which is good. My knees also feel a bit achy. I am going for a massage Wednesday and I have ordered knee wraps.

Taking corrective action DZ!! I also have my follow up with Dr Babbins Wednesday about my lower back issues. I will ask him about the knees. I went for the big tests already, so hoping for a positive outcome. I honestly think I did a bit too much too soon as I started doing heavy days now, could also be doing too often. So, for now, reps are back in (sets of at least 6-8) except on deads, which are going great as is. Sets of 3 to 5 on deads.

I also ordered the knee wraps from EliteFTS, along with some good collars so I can do Donket Squats again!

Couldn't agree more! I got a bit away from it thinking that doing some heavier work would make the reps feel lighter. Problem was I was not quite as ready as I thought for heavy squats, as I was for bench and deads.

On Sunday, I was actually going to do 1 more heavys quat single, and then my repwork, similar to you, as I am a huge fan of your training.

My singles represent about 85% of my 1RM.
They should feel pretty crisp and fast.
