Good liftin man. I'm pretty sure I'm getting some great carry over doing sumo deads to squats.

Haha - ya, it looked like a dream sequence lol. I have no idea why it did that. Thanks for the form compliment, as I am a form freak and it means more to me than any number will really. Form gives me a bigger rush than weight. I am going to work hard to keep the form as I progress.

Hey DZ!! How awesome to see you here - welcome to MAB! You will love it here. I appreciate you going thru some of my history here. Indeed, its been a rollercoaster but the members here have been lifechangers for me - literally. I know I am blessed to be so fortunate. This is what I focus on as I move forward this year. It's gonna be good as I head towards 50 y/o in February.

CREW BENCH SESSION

Ended up doing Floor Press this morning as it was a good opportunity to train with Cory. I did OK, but when I look at the vids it appears my ROM was a bit lacking, but oh well - I don't do these very often. Additionally, Cory tricked me ! He told me that I would be able to handle 275 no problemo for 2-3 reps. I did get 1 ugly rep. Cory then said after-wards good job! I said why, I only got 1 rep. He then said he didn't even expect me to get that haha!

Paused bench went very well. I am getting better at my pauses. I also did 1 Arm BB Rows for the first time ever. Had to fiddle with foot positioning quite a bit. I also learned quickly that hook grip is a must on these unless you have Versagripps. I forgot mine today. I also am not sure if I should count the bar in the weight total, and if so, how much?

I was also happy with weighted dips and the pull-upping. They weren't quite as hard as I expected them to be.

Goal on Floor Press was to work the triceps and thus lockout.

I also did interval cardio and abwork on Friday AM.

Happy Father's Day Sunday guys! I'll be squatting in the JimGym as I have to be done by 10:00AM.

Great floor presses! One arm BB Rows are money! I use those every other session. Look up Meadows Rows for another version.

Solid training man. I was gonna say something about ROM but you already busted yourself on it. I guess I never actually looked but when I do floor presses my arms actually touch floor and rest briefly. I'll have to see what is correct.
