Thanks Jay, Rich, Cutty, Lisa, and Hit! It's been a very slow process over about 4-5 months now, which is what I wanted to do to hopefully preserve as much lean mass as possible. It is now pretty much a Paleo diet by default as I eat for auto-immune and celiac disease. Thankfully, going Paleo has been somewhat easy since I was gluten free already with an iron willpower. Additionally, I now never crave any food whatsoever, including dairy and in particular ice cream, which makes it simple to stick with the diet over the rest of my life. It is now simply a matter of adjusting portions for cutting and bulking. I also feel like a 25 year old!

Great isnt it slim Jim....after my weight loss, and my discovery of weight lifting, I can honestly say, I feel better than I can ever remember having felt in my life.

The iron is there during my times of happiness, sadness and anger. The iron is there available through the 4 seasons and inclement weather. The iron is there to either comfort me or motivate me. The Iron manages to show me how strong I am or how humble I need to be. The iron does not yell, but it always demands respect. The iron is not a disciplinarian, but when disrespected, I feel it for a long time. The iron does not love or hate, but we definitely share a strong bond. And no matter how far I stay away or for how long, the iron is there, waiting to be lifted.

I'm slowly inching a few pounds back on since the meet Jim, plan to sit around 205 over the summer, so I'll meet you there in a week or so
Great work on shredding up, you did it the smart way
I also try follow paleo, but could use some of your willpower. Especially at the weekend's!!!

Indeed, once gluten free, the jump to paleo is not too bad. It would be hellish if not gluten free yet.

These were all a bitch right from the start, but I am happy with 3 pull ups as I haven't done them in over a year. I suck at them, but this year I am going to rectify that, just like I did my bench in 2012. I will be pulling out all the tricks to progress on them like negatives and rack chins and total reps, etc.

I was thinking of JB size arms to get me thru the last 15 seconds.

Post training meal was a baked chicken breast with back attached, raw broccoli, and an avocado with a few blueberries for dessert. This is a typical meal for me - a protein, fibrous complex carb, and a healthy fat. The avocado makes the meal, as it makes eating raw veggies easy and tasteful because of the texture. eating this way also makes for high absorbancy of all the nutrients.
