Thanks Al! Last year, you commented that I should be burying the lighter sets that I was doing at the time. Ever since, I have been working on it and flexibility. Burying that 403 in Vegas was a big deal to me as a result of alot of hard work. These days I also have the ability & confidence I can bury anything I squat.

Really happy I was able to get full ROM on the leg press, as I have never been able to do that before. In fact, I got a bit of a bounce off of the stoppers. Calf Raises were paused and created a big burn.

Seated Calf Raises
2 Plates X12 Reps X 5 Sets
All reps paused. 2nd degree burns to calves!

GHR
BW X8 X 3 Sets
Full ROM - these were some of the best quality GHR's I have ever done!

Reverse Hyperextensions SS Hack Sled

50 X12/BW X15 For 3 sets

Just enough work overall and everything felt easy!

Next weekend is the Crew Meet (GPC Canada Nationals) and I get to be platform crew! Big responsibility! How exciting to be so close to that action. I did request they build a cage to keep the hungry & raging animals under control.

Thanks a bunch Ravi! It will be fun and interesting to see the lifters close up and I am sure I will learn a few more things!

I don't anticipate doing another meet until the Spring of 2014, when I will be in my 50's. I have now missed the 2 meets I was planning to do already, which were and are qualifiers for other meets.

Thanks Lisa! Indeed, no hurry with any numbers as I am still recovering and in the later stages of my cut.

I haven't done calves in a very long time - big time doms today. I also have to order more of the greens and vit C. I have already almost finished 2 containers of them both. I will also order more collagen.

I now mix a bit of the PHD Greens, which taste good, with the Greens Plus Smart & Fit, which makes the whole drink taste better. I reckon a bit of extra greens won't hurt!
