JB'S OLD SCHOOL TAKE 2 SEMESTER 1 JIMGYM SESSION B

Sumo Deadlifts
135 X3
155 X3
185 X3
225 X3
These were not on the official agenda, but Brian, the Back Doc, said it was OK for me to deadlift once per week, but to take it easy. I am not even close to 100%, but these Sumo's felt good with no pain, so I am happy as a clam.

I also know I have a long way to go as these felt kinda heavy. However, I am on a cut and rehabbing an injury, so strength loss will hopefully be kept at a minimum.

Standing Hammers
15's X1Min.
15's X1Min.
15's X1Min.
These get heavy real fast.

Tricep Kickbacks
25's X10
25's X10
25's X10

Seated 1 Arm Iso Curls
Palms Facing Me
15 X20
15 X20
15 X20

Band Pushdowns
1.25 inch Bands X20 for 3 sets

Dips
BW X8
BW X8
BW X8 Did these just because I like them.

That's it until Saturday's Bench Day with The Crew. Friday is my next dreaded session with the BackBitch.

Great Job Jim! Glad to see you are still able to do some deadlifting. That is a great sign IMO. I have to admit to you, I am some what shocked to see you doing curls and kickbacks.

Great work, glad you are staying working around your injury and doing work.

Thanks for sharing about the accident in Mexico, wow that is a miracle.
Congrats on being able to pull again brother the numbers will come in time. Can only imagine what this ordeal has been like especially from a lifters perspective.
Can't hold a good man down, onward and upward!

Thanks Jay! Haha - ya, I kinda thought of that after-wards.I might do a few pulls on Sunday and then leave it till next Sunday. I'll see how it feels. Also, when I do them at the crewgym, they have a bar loader lever. Loading plates at home is a pita.

Thanks Big J! Deads felt good and I feel good this AM as well. The curls and kickbacks were on JB's program he gave me, so I have faith and will stay the course. I think he has them in here just for blood flow type of thing. Sort of a save it for the real work on Saturday's bench session with the crew.

Indeed, it is Ram! I figured Sumo's would be less of a chance of pain and I was right.

Thanks Lisa! I am happy where I am right now and very optimistic I will able to work my way back up into the 400's by the Spring.

Thanks OMP! I also remember my cousin telling me he thought I was dead in the hospital because they had the sheet pulled over my head by accident. lol (not funnty at the time tho I guess)

Indeed, the lower back rehab will be ongoing for at least 4 weeks. At times, I wonder how the hell I ever did 465 in Vegas with no pain.

I was just teasing you about the curls and kickbacks thing. Get after it. I'm glad you are working JB's program and letting it work for you!
