Solid goals Jim. Drop weight slowly and you will at least maintain strength. No need to rush things.

Thanks Al! It will be Geezer speed! Yep, no hurry. I am a little disappointed that I didn't have thie Epiphany a little sooner. I think I was a afraid of not reaching my goal of the 500 deadlift if I went on any sort of cut. However, after seeing many guys who are lighter lift heavier than me, I am confident I can do it. Age may play a role in progressing to that 500, but I know I'll get it soon anyway. I really would like that 1200 total as well. I know I am capable of it now.

I'm with you, no more fat powerlifter. I'm with LtL too. I think a little at a time is the way to go. I like how you guarantee you'll get there. Good attitude to have.

Thanks Mike!! I am committed to it this time for sure. The first week here will be interesting as I might have a larger weight loss this week as I have been urinating excessively lol. I have not cut very many calories - maybe 100-200.

When this cycle is over, take a few weeks of 20 rep lifts with small rest times. Will be some of the best cardio you ever do
