JB'S OLD SCHOOL SEMESTER 7 DAY 1 BENCH ME

JB's thoughts for bench this week were to get me handling some bigger weights. So 2 board it is!!

Bench Press
Bar X8
95 X5
135 X3
185 X2
205 X1
225 X1
Working:
240 X3
265 X3
Add 2 Board:
285 X1 Easy
300 X1 Easy 2 Board PR
315 Miss Fuck
I don't get it how 300 could be easy and just 15 lbs more makes me miss. Maybe I was a little too over confident. 315 was an optional single JB thought I would crush. On the last rep of 265, the spotter said he just helped a tiny smidgeon as his hands were on the bar, so I reckon I'll count it. At any rate, today's performance was a helluva lot better than last Saturday's bench

I managed quite good form today. The 240 X3 set they said was "perfect", so I am really happy about that. I am making quite noticable progress on bench both in form and resistance so I am overall happy as a clam.

Tricep Rope Pushdowns
42.5 X8 X 4 Sets

Big squat day coming up Sunday AM. Money sets are 3 sets of 390 for triples. I have doubled 405 before, so no sweat for a triple at 390. The hard part is for 3 sets. I guess I will kinda get a taste for what Ravi is going thru these days.

Thanks JB!! I just wish I would fatigue just a little bit later. Ya, it does seem I tend to fatigue relatively quickly on bench.

I used my normal grip (pinkey's on or just barely inside ring).
