JB'S OLD SCHOOL SEMESTER 4 SQUAT ME DAY 2

Did some of my best work ever today. Crew was very pleased with it. These squats were much better than week 3's 325 X6.

Squats
Bar X8

145 X5
195 X3
215 X2
235 X2
255 X1
280 X1
300 X6
330 X6

Buried every rep of every set today and I couldn't be happier about it. In the vid, it looks like 320 is loaded but it is actually 330 as the bar is 55 lbs. Haha - I didn't forget today!

Squats (Wider Stance)
195 X8 Felt light
195 X8 Heavy-ish
195 X8 Heavy
195 X8 Damn hard
These puppies were to work the abductors. They got heavy really fast.

Bulgarian Squats
BW X10 Per Leg X 4 Sets
I have never done these before. I was getting frustrated until Erica (Crew member) came over and taught me how to do them. It was difficult to balance, but once I found a groove I could do them. Thhey were insanely hard. Only 1 other exercise I have ever done has ever made me fall to the ground: Donkey Squats. In some sick way I love it. Cannot wait to do them again!

I have to say I was partially fueled with anger over the elementary school shooting. The father of Emily Parker was on TV last night paying tribute to his little angel and it brought me to tears. I hope and pray his family and all the others can somehow find peace as they come to terms with this tragedy. The only way I know of to deal with something like this is to over time find a way to forgive the shooter. I had to get professional help to learn how to forgive my father after 41 years of abuse. My life has blossomed ever since I genuinely forgave him. I know the children who were slain would want their family's to somehow find a way to pick up the pieces while they mourn.

I also hope the American people will come together and find a way to help prevent tragic events like this from happening so often so the children did not die in vain.
