Bench felt easy-ish today! Quit happy I was able to be consistent with the tightness. The set on the vid was the last working set of 215, and I showed no signs really of fatigue. Crew thought I did a decent job today, so I am happy as a clam! Last nights Buffet Pig Out at Mrs Squatters' Xmas party paid dividends!

Goal was to start on the lighter side and increase each set

Did an extra set and extra 2 extra reps as I was getting stronger with these each set.

CG Pullover Combo
2 rotations per set of 5 skull crushers, 5 presses, 5 skulls, and 5 presses. Thus each rotation is 20 total reps - 40 total per set. These were absolute hell on Earth. I had a few choice 4 letter words for JB!!

EZ Curl Bar +20 lbs
EZ Curl Bar +10 lbs
EZ Curl Bar + 5 Lbs
EZ Curl Bar
Hellish fire now burning in my poor triceps.

Now getting siked up for squat-o-clock on Sunday. Working sets will be 1 set of 300X6 and 3 sets of 325 X6. I will try to bury each and every rep.

Thanks Rich!! I was a bit amazed at how they seemed to get easier as the weight went up. I really like doing CGBP with the boards. Hopefully it will help boost the lockout!

JB'S OLD SCHOOL WEEK 3 DAY 2 SQUAT ME

Squats
Warm/ramp up sets were a real hodge podge. I really have no idea what I did lol. There were a few of us warming up. Then more and more members arrived over the course of 20 minutes and next thing we know there are like 20 guys crowding around 1 monolift. The ladies were squatting on the other monolift. Thankfully, the crew has 3 of them, so I suggested we break up and get the 3rd one going. Otherwise, I would be waiting a long time in between sets. So, here aare the working sets:

300 X6
325 X6
325 X6
325 X6 Close Up Vid!

Depth kinda sucked on the 3rd set, as you can see in the vid. I think this set was still legal tho. I was using a "new" belt. It is an Inzer belt with a clamp or lever. The Crew suggested I try it. I really liked it but I think I have to get used to it. The squats felt deeper than they were. However, the guys did say I nailed the depth for the other 3 sets, but hammies were getting fatigued. I also wasn't getting my knees <> enough on this set. I did however remain tight throughout.

Leg Press (Close Stance)
Sled +3PPS X15
Sled +4PPS X15
Sled +5PPS X15 Reps X4 Sets
I was pretty much toast after these.

Deficit SLDL
135 X8
135 X8
155 X8
155 X8 (Vid)
155 X6
Started to lose grip on last set. I think I bent my knees a bit too much on the 4th set (Vid), but still felt a great stretch in the hammies on each set. I also was able to create a big deficit using 2 wood platforms.

All in all a very good sesh. Squats felt just right - not too heavy and not easy. I did tire fast tho by the 4th set (Vid). After Squats, I had that really relaxed feeling. Didn't really want to do leg press, but got it done. After the SLDL I was pretty zonked.

Squats look great for the last set. Plenty of power there! Straight legs looked good for as much blood you should have had in your legs. You are rolling right along through this.

Thanks JB!! I likely need to utilize more of that available torque.

Already looking forward to rolling right into Tuesday's Aux. Bench.
