Looks great, 290x8s makes it a 415 projected max. That means next week we move on to 420 and 295x8s. 2 of the 3 ME days have gone great. How is the back feeling? Make sure you hit some stretches and foam rolling during the week to get the blood moving.

Well, the 290's X8 did sort of feel like 415!! Nah, not that bad of course, but everyone was not really feeling the love of the squat bar post meet. I am quite confident next week's squats will feel much better. Looking forward to crushing the 295's next time. I am also looking forward to rack pulls, as I have never done them before.

Lower back had a good pump going today and thus was a bit achy after-wards. The good news is that my facet joint was OK. I stretched it out after the session and tonight it is feeling pretty good. It was even good setting up the Xmas tree and doing dishes. (For some reason doing dishes irritates my lower back if the facet joint is out) Thus, I am sure the facet joint is OK. Another indicator my facet joint is out is if I lean excessively on my squats.

I'll do some rumble rolling and stretching every day for that blood flow. Would doing some very light cardio help in this regard? I do have an elliptical machine at home.

Yeah, great start Jim. Killed those squats. Man, the volume with this is amazing. You're going to hit some big numbers at the end of this! I figured it out that we'll be testing maxs around the first week of Feb. Should be interesting.
