I will Steve. Pretty much got it, except I want it as before Vernon - get it a bit deeper to make a no brainer for judges. Brian told me to widen my stance a bit and get a bit more speed when I begin my descent. I will get it done and more next week.

I'll try pinky on the ring and just inside the ring. I have never tried those grips before. Going to be benching tonight. Your advice makes sense and I am anticipating it will work!!

BENCH SESSION

It's snowing outside!! Low of minus 2 tonight. Can you say "ski"

Brought my grip in abit tonight - pinky on ring or just slightly inside. Felt pretty good. The real test will come next Saturday with the crew tho. Thanks to Big Josh for the suggestion.

I am starting to feel a little beat up, so I am going on a deload next week. I am only 5 weeks out from Vegas, which will be one of the biggest days of my life ever.

I am also going to drop Benching during the week in the JimGym. I now feel it is doing more harm than good. My forearms are starting to hurt from unracking it, no matter what the weight. It is simply just so different than benching with the crew. I simply cannot setup properly at home as well. Then, when I train with the crew, It's somewhat difficult to make the transition to lifting properly.

I think I may just do some OHP and Chins on Tuesday's from now on.

I will squat Wednesday. I'm just going to bury some light reps.

The Military Press PR's tonight took alot out of me. I had to set them with my favorite song of all time - Child's Garden by April Wine. It means alot to me from my childhood.
