On squats I want you to do sets of the required rep's but do them very deliberately. Pause between each rep' at the top. Set yourself. Squat. Complete rep'. Set yourself. Squat. Repeat. This will allow you to think about your technique and build your confidence under the bar.

Make sense?

Thanks Steve Benching 3 PPS will be as big of milestone to me as deadlifting 500 and Push pressing 2 PPS - especially if I can do all 3 by the end of 2011

Cycle 8 really chewed me up and spit me out. I have never been so exhausted. The old bod is screaming and squawking. The kink in my lower back is still there, but didn't bother me during my deadlifts. It's no worse after the lifting. Next week is a NoLoad week. I need a rest & grow week like I never have before.

Wendler's calculator has me pulling 507 lbs for a 1 RM:flex: I'm going to wait to retest until I have pulled 475 lbs for a single. Once I have pulled that, I will be very confident 500 would only be a cycle and a week's rest away. I'm thinking July or at the latest August - and I cannot wait.

Woo hoo is right. A bone crushing effort all the way around. I wouldn't doubt if your next 1RM is 520-525.
