Franco Columbo Tat is win! I think for a bench tat you should use a still picture of one of your bench sessions! You are rocking that lift now.

Great lifting lately Jim. Making awesome progress everywhere. I'm sure you'll hit your goals in Vegas.

Thanks Mike!! Great idea. I'll sort thru some pics and/or have Mrs Squatter take some.

I am progressing - just tweaking my routine a bit to help with a sticking point on deads and to fine tune the benching.

DYNAMIC BENCH SESSION

The goal today was to maintain control of intelligently picked resistance. Mission accomplished as this was one of the most satisfying sessions I have ever had. Everything was perfect, even tho I missed my 200 Clean. I got the 1st and 2nd pulls, but just couldn't rack it as the bar got forward on me. Just a short while ago getting the 2 pulls done was impossible. I am progressing on Cleans and I couldn't be happier about it.

I also tweaked my routine somewhat. I wanted a solid push/pull for Tuesday Dynamic Bench day and I nailed it.

Going for 200 here was the right choice. I almost got it, and this miss has given me the confidence that I will get my 200 soon. Perhaps not being recovered from deadlifts had something to do with it. If so, I am even more happy about this attempt.

Some of my best form ever on this lift. +5 lbs from last time on all sets.

2 reps was just right here. Did not want any tweaks. These are so hard for me at 238 lbs, but I managed full ROM.

Had a headache throughout the session, but did some of my best form I thought.

Thanks Big J. I'm not a "tattoo" guy either. Just these 2, and maybe a third to complete the powerlift meet on my body.

TATTOO SESSION

Peel said after-wards it was one of his most difficult ever. It took him 4 hours. He and I wanted to retain the classic epicness of Franco's legendary pull. Again, it is even better than I imagined. I asked him how he did it, and he said he didn't even know.
