Thanks Mark!! Indeed, there was alot of info packed into 2 hours. I wish it was an 8 hour course over 4 days or something like that.

Wow - made my day to hear from you Carl!! Some things are great for me, and some not. On the bright side I am going to compete this July. On the dim side, my Mom passed away a few weeks ago and my eye inflammation is getting worse. But hey, I'll just carry on the best i can.

531 RELOADED FOR POWERLIFTING CYCLE 5 WEEK 1

Yep, I decided to progress to 531 for powerlifting. For those of you not familiar, weeks 1 and 2 are reversed and heavy singles are added to weeks 1 and 3. On week 2, prescribed reps only on the money set - sort of like a mini deload.

Back held up until the 4th single of cleans. Strict military press did not bother it tho.

I also had some major brain farts as I forgot everything I learned at first. After awhile it started coming back to me. I mainly wanted to practice getting under the bar and my timing.

Will be at the hospital most of the day tomorrow for some tests on my eyes. The damn Birdshot has worsened somewhat which caused them some concern at my appointment today at the Eye Center. They gave me 2 needles in the right eye. Not sure what all is on tap for tomorrow.
