531 CYCLE 3 WEEK 1 DAY 3 SQUAT

The session didn't start off very well. I tried a new pre-wo (NO Exhaust). It made me feel like I just stuck my finger in a light socket and kept it there. It also made me nauseated. The warm up and the first 2 531 sets felt like a ton of bricks. I almost called it a day, but decided to carry on with the money set and play it by ear.

Squat 531
(Goal) Actual
(250 X5) 250 x5
(285 X5) 285 X5
(325 X5) 325 X10 PR for reps at this weight - + 5 reps

Front Squat
255 X7 PR +5 lbs
255 X6
255 X6

RDL's
415 X6 PR +10 lbs
415 X5
415 X5

The shoes felt great, except about halfway thru the session, a small part of my right foot near the smallest toe started to hurt. Left foot was OK. I loosened up the strap which seemed to help. They are really grippy to the floor as well, almost like magnets. Once I was in place, they nor my foot did not move at all. The stability is incredible. They did assist me alot with sitting back on the back squats, which was the main goal. They didn't seem to help with the knees <> tho. Most importantly, they gave me the confidence to get 10 reps. There is no way I would have gone for 10 without them. The confidence they gave me made me feel like I could squat 500 lbs and have really refueled my passion to squat heavy again.

The front squats will take more getting used to tho. The shoes seemed to make the fronts more difficult for some reason. RDL's felt better with the shoes.

Finally, my Oly Lifting coaching starts this Saturday!!! I'm planning on taking it for 3 months. Let the good times roll!!

You really need to change the title of this thread to PRsville, because that's exactly what it is!!!
Excellent work in here. Great lifting Congratulations on all the PRs.
I'm extra crispy impressed by the RDLs. That is some legit power. Don't get me wrong, the other 2 lifts you did today are really good, but a 415 RDL is beastly.

Squatter living up to his name. That's a lot of reps with that weight.
I like the way your outfit matches your new shoes too -

Thanks Big J. I have to give some credit to LtL as he knows how to push me. I may have to alternate RDL's and regular deads as doing both in the same week will likely not work, but we'll see.

Thanks Mark. It will be great. I was actually inspired by Carl as he once took some oly coaching. I also love power cleans so much that I want to nail down good technique on them.

Thanks OR. I feel form has improved as well, which has helped enable to push harder with added confidence.

I was undecided to wear white or black socks tho
