You definitely have the right approach to this Jim. Prop's for taking your time rather than dieting all of your muscle away.

Thanks Big Al I don't want to lose 1 speck of muscle fiber or strength. If I end up being 220 or even more for the rest of my life, so be it. I know I am happiest when I am big and strong - like you!!

Awesome lifting Jim... I watched the vid of the deadlifts and just seem to have unlimited amounts of energy, like If you can lift something once you can lift it for reps... unbelieveable, you must be close to a 500lbs dead soon buddy for sure.

The cut is going well mate, slow and steady is the key and you can pretty much garantee to keep ALL your muscle then.

This weight seems to work for your strength...Not sure if I would go down until I hit my goals...

Yep, 'tis is true

Ya know, I was just thinking last night about how great it is to be here. I really think it inspired my great week to start cycle 8. I mean, to have Steve and Babs back into the 'fold" of inspirators commenting on my journal is just fantastic. I have sooooooooooooo much respect for them.

Thanks so much Carl I agree - once I get going it's hard to stop as anxious as I am to retest my 1 RM on deads, I'm going to wait until cycle 10 is over - I'm confident I will have it then!!

Great advice Jesse - I think I was subconsciously thinking this and that's why i have not lost alot of weight yet (5 lbs as of today) If achieving my 500 dead means maintaining 220 then maintain it is!!
