Thanks Mark!! Things are getting better. This AM I did OK on bench (225 X3) (prescribed was 3) and DB bench went very well, and I got a PR on Pnedlays. I was definitely feeling more love for the iron today.

The first 2 sets felt very light, so I thought 2 PPS would not be a problem, but I did get the 3 reps and got stapled on the 4th.

Really super excited about the Pendlay's. I decided during the session to go for the PR and rest Friday and Deadlift Saturday. I also wanted to some dips from now on to hopefully assist my benching. Speaking of which, I thought my arch was improved. I think I might do some rest/pause work for assistance as well - alternate that with incline DB Pressing.

Assistance work is looking solid Jim.

Rest pause always seemed to work well for me on bench style movements. What exercise are you thinking about using it with?

Thanks Steve!! I would like to get my bench up. I was considering R/P only on my bench, although I reckon I already do it on box squats. I would also work on bar speed at the same time as I explode the bar up after pausing.

LtL sure knows how to press my buttons.....

I also have to say I am in a great mental state now with my lifting.

This was the best deadlifting session I have ever had. I felt great so I rolled with it. I am going to spread week 3 over 1.5 weeks due to Xmas, then take 4-5 days off as my deload, and then start cycle 3.
