Maybe you got a bit of muscle bounce back that may have been lost during the cut.

I see my muscle mass jump around quite a bit like that when cutting and could never figure out why.

That would make sense Steve, and I'll take it anyday, as I have been working hard to get it back.

Thanks Spart!! I just ordered a pair of 2011 Do-Wins from Rogue Canada

The adidas were too difficult to get here. I only found 2 places on the net in north america, and they did not have my size.

Thanks NardBro - it means alot to me, as I take just as much pride in my diet, even moreso on the paleo-ish diet.

531 CYCLE 1 WEEK 3 DAY 1 PUSH PRESS

Push Press 531
(Goal) Actual
(125 X5) 125 X5
(142.5 X3) 142.5 X3
(157.5 X1) 157.5 X5 See Vid

BTNP
115 X8
115 X8
115 X8
115 X8
115 X7

Power Cleans
115 X3
115 X3
115 X3
115 X3
115 X5 See Vid

No cardio will be done on heavy week 3. 100% focus and energy is on lifting. My best on 531 last time was 175 X4 for push press. I hope to be back there in a couple of cycles.

Power cleans went well. I thought I would just throw a vid out there.

Squat-o-clock Tuesday at 4:30AM. My money set is at 347.5. Sheesh, it's only cycle 1 and I gotta rep 350. Thank goodness I just ordered a pair of 2011 Rogue Do-Wins Weightlifting shoes. Read and heard alot of good things about them, and they were available here in Canada from a Canadian website - bonus. The Adidas shoes were a pain in the butt to order, nobody had my size - they were only available from 2 websites in North America. Lot's of British Sites had them, but I'm not ordering shoes from the UK. I should have them next week, just in time for cycle 2.

Everything looked like you could throw at least another half plate on each side Jim. Especially the power cleans. I think that weight is actually too light for you to lift properly

Thanks Mark!! I don't think you can beat 2 pressing movements in a routine, and the PP and BTNP compliment each other nicely. They both fit into 531 like a glove. last year, I went from 1 95lb PP to a 205 max using a similar combo of PP and MP.

I'm working on getting my PP max up to BW - I'll retest it after cycle 3. I agree on the PC's, but the problem I had last time I did PC's is that I progressed too fast. Last time I did 95, this time 115, next cycle will be 135.

Do you think the form was that bad on the PC's?

531 CYCLE 1 WEEK 3 DAY 2 SQUAT

Squat 531
(Goal) Actual
(275 X5) 275 X5
(312.5 X3) 315 X3
(347.5 X1) 350 X4
I thought I was going to be in trouble as the 275 set felt too heavy, the 315 felt like a ton of bricks, but the 350 felt not as heavy as I thought it would. My knees are still caving in tho. I'm hoping the Rogue Do-Wins will help me out a bit with that. More on this later in this post.

Front Squat
205 X8
205 X8
205 X8
205 X8
205 X8
These were the hardest sets of squats I have ever done - they royally kicked my butt into next cycle.

RDL's
300 X6
300 X6
300 X6
300 X6
300 X6

So, I saw my Doc today and I have some crappy news. My tremors have spread to my legs. I'm not sure if you can notice it in some of my vids, but I did. I cannot feel it tho when I squat. I feel like I'm pushing the knees out a country mile, yet I'm not. The same thing happened when I first was diagnosed with the hand tremors. I was a waiter, and one night some customers asked me if I was new. I said no, and said I have been there 5 years. They told me I was shaking like a leaf, and yet I never noticed it. The only reason I noticed it this time was because of the vids. My Doc confirmed it today.

I'm basically a walking Earthquake

Damn it anyway. It won't stop me from lifting tho, and I will reach my goals.

I also saw the shrink today, and M&S came up. I realized today why I am so emotional about my lifting - because people care about it, namely all of you. I have been lifting for 20+ years, and no one has ever gave a damn before I joined this forum.

531 CYCLE 1 WEEK 3 DAY 3 BENCH PRESS

Bench Press 531
(Goal) Actual
(170 X5) 170 X5
(192.5 X3) 195 X3
(215 X1) 225 X4
The 195 felt light, so I made an on-the-fly decision to go for 2PPS on my money set. My 1RM just before this cycle was 225, but I knew that was too low as my 1RM a couple of months before was 255. My benching strength is back!!!!:flex: This really made my week.

Incline BB Bench Press
160 X8
160 X8
160 X8
160 X8
160 X8

Pendlay Rows
210 X5
210 X5
210 X5
210 X5
210 X5

Chest Dips
BW X8
BW X8
BW X8

I'd have to rate this sesh a 100/10. I don't think I have ever had a better overall bench session.

Deads Friday AM. Money set is prescribed at 350. I may have to adjust that up as well, as my 1RM last month was 405, and I know that was too low as well. I'll decide after my first 2 sets.

Hope y'all are setting food PR's this Thanksgiving.
