Physio went great. I basically had a load of tightness in my illicostalis lumborum (spelling) which is a muscle near the spinal erectors which is involved a lot in twisting which I did a lot of during my DIY FEST week. She massaged all of the tightness out of there and told me to keep it warm for tonight. Rest day tomorrow, as planned and then I'm fine to lift on Saturday as long as I warm up, stretch and ice afterwards. Good times.

So no long term damage, no missed training sessions and it only cost 35 to have her come to the house. I love it when a plan comes together.

Having watched the vid' she worked into it a little more aggressively with me face down and using her elbows.

Elbows allow for more pressure to be applied and are used in acupressure quite a lot, and I guess since you have loads of lean mass, that would be the wise choice of method to get a deep massage as well.

Thanks Jim. I have put on some size recently and not just in the mid-section

Massaged section is tender this morning but will be fine by tomorrow I'm sure and shoulder is a bit crunchy (like someone poured gravel in there) but I think that's from sleeping on it funny. Bit of mobility work on that and I'll be good to destroy some board presses tomorrow. Gonna take the 2board for a ride.
