I can now make phone calls thanks to a night in rice so fingers crossed I have averted disaster. Going to speak to insurance today though.

Excited to deadlift tomorrow and get a full session in. Heavy raw block pulls and boat loads of assistance. Can't wait!

Cube Week 3
Heavy Deadlifts

Foam roll
Stretch

4" Block Pulls
70kgs x 5
110kgs x 5
Add belt
150kgs x 1
180kgs x 1

Working sets should have been 5 doubles @ 80% but like Squats on Sunday I did:

195kgs for 3 doubles

And then:

195kg x 5

Snatch Grip Pulls off the blocks
115kgs for 2 sets of 8

DB Rows
52kgs for 3 sets of 10

DB Shrugs
42kgs for 2 sets of 20

Spread-eagled Sit-Ups
2 sets of 25 (rest paused) with 20kgs plate behind head

Good session tonight. Pulls moved fast and didn't feel too heavy. Pleased to get another 5 rep set instead of the last 2 doubles. The assistance has me doing more pulling than I have for a LONG time and I think it's working. Hoping for good things come April.

Back in on Thursday for shirted bench and should be working up to a rough opener in the 170kgs area and touching it.
