Thanks Jim. The narrower sumo stance feels strong and bar path looks better too.

Will be taking Mrs Al for lunch on Saturday while the in-laws babysit. Will be nice to get away for a bit.

Thanks Ravi. After around 4 hours sleep last night, I think training is out tonight as I will have to help with a very tired, ill and grumpy Mini at bedtime. Will get a session in over the weekend though.

So Thursday night I got 4 hours sleep on the nursery floor, with mini ill and being difficult the gym was out of the question on Friday night as I had to help Mrs Al with her. Saturday was Mrs Al's birthday so I didn't train and we went for a really nice lunch (24oz steak ) and some shopping. Sunday morning at 4am I woke up in a cold sweat and felt sick. Worried that I was coming down with the vomiting bug that was going around. Thankfully I wasn't, Mini woke up around then though and was awake until 6. We all slept in until 8:30, me on the sofa and them upstairs. Mrs Al's Mum came and helped out yesterday so we got some more sleep during the day and I managed 8 hours on the sofa last night (so as not to wake the girls up with my tossing and turning).

Long story short: I haven't trained since Thursday and am unlikely to be back in until tomorrow at the earliest. I also have the office Christmas party on Thursday. I am pretty annoyed right now. My family has been ill almost constantly for around 2.5 months and it is really getting to me now. I've dosed up on painkillers and coffee and I feel better now so fingers crossed it won't last too long, just very frustrating!
