Those 1 1/4 squats look like hell on earth lol

Impressive lifting mate, you just continue to get better and better buddy. I think you definitely have more than a shot at the nationals next year, especially with this new training program...

Nice squatting Al. Do you find Front squatting to be easier? I think I have really good form on front squats but put the bar on my back and it all falls apart

Front squats are hard in a different way. It's a challenge to stay upright coming out of the hole. You'll probably also find that your back squats break cos you're using more weight.

DYNAMIC EFFORT UPPER BODY

Shoulder warm-ups

Added red bands, around 45kg's at the top

Crazy Weights Press

Pull Ups
4 sets of 8 alternating narrow and wide grips

Rear delt' cable flies

1p x 15 per arm

Dumbell Curls superset with Rope tricep pushdowns
20kg's x 15 ss 5p x 15
20kg's x 10 ss 6p x 15
17.5kg's x 5 ss 6p x 12

Good session tonight. Bit of a miscommunication with John on top set of bench but got all rep's. John went up to 120kg's and bands for 3 but I kept it sensible and stopped at 2pps. Crazy bells was fun but harder than it looks. Needs more weight next time. Pull ups were hard but form was good. Rear delt work felt great and gun work was boring and painful.

Found the log of the guy who defeated me today. This inspired me tonight and will continue for tomorrow's dynamic squats.

Thanks Spartigus. Feeling strong right now. Hopefully some straight weight PB's on the way. Although I am going to skip tonight's dynamic squats to rest up for the weekend's max effort sessions. Having squatted HEAVY on Monday, I feel I've earnt a couple of days off before going balls to the wall again.

If all goes to plan I'll be training with a group of VERY strong Natural PL'ers on Sunday. Amongst this group I think they have 4 or 5 UK records and 3 of them have been, or are currently, European/World Full Power Champions. If I can't get stronger training with them, I may as well quit PL and buy a shakeweight. Very excited!
