Thanks guys.

Faz I'm not sure on exact tensions but I estimate that average bands are 45kgs per side, light around 25-30, super mini probably 15-20. I anchored the super mini and light on a 47.5kgs hex dumbell and it didn't move. The averages will shift the 50kgs a bit without the smaller 20kgs bell on top. So that would give a total tension of 175kgs @top. I think that is a bit generous though so may change my smaller bands estimate smaller...

I waffle.

Truth is I don't know but the walk was HARD but the squats were manageable until the top.

Awesome

I have to ask...with the bands attached to the barbell and being "loaded" as the barbell is re-racked; if you missed the rack and let it go would that thing shoot off like a catapult or is there not enough tension in the bands for that to happen?

And, does that ever cross your mind, when doing banded squats/deads?

@Steve - Thanks.

@Babs - If I missed the rack and let go, the bar would catapult to the floor very fast but nothing more exciting than that.

@Byrd - Bands are a faff but they work well for me.

Just realised my gym total is up to 670kgs now:

SQ 250 (a little high but plenty of time to get it lower)
BP 180
DL 240 raw

35kgs more needed by end of November. One step closer.
