Moving swiftly on...

DYNAMIC EFFORT BENCH PRESS

Band resisted stretching. Lats are super tight.

Speed bench against super minis tripled choked around dumbells
Bar for a few sets
Add bands
Bar for a few sets
Add slingshot
65kgs for 3 sets of 3
80kgs for 2 sets of 3
95kgs for 2 sets of 3

3Board CG lockout work against same bands
100kgs x 3
120kgs x 3
130kgs x 3

Bradford/Bradfield/BradPitt press superset with Cable lateral raises
40kgs x 10 ss 2plates x 10 per side
45kgs x 10 ss same
50kgs x 10 ss same

Seated cable row
60kgs x 10
70kgs x 10
80kgs x 10
90kgs x 10
100kgs x 10

Guns superset
Pinwheel curls with Fat Gripz ss Rope triceps pushdowns
17.5kgs x 6 per side ss 12plates x 20

FIN All done in just over an hour

Moved session up to today due to Fathers Day tomorrow which I will be spending with my girls. Speed bench was good. The slingshot forces me to tuck my elbows which I need to work on for my shirted pressing on Wednesday so that was good. Lockouts were strong. Concentrating on pressing in a straight line to strengthen tris. 130 was hard but was never in doubt.

The overhead pressing (Bradfield or whatever they're called when you alternate front and behind presses) was good. Really loosened up my shoulder girdle. Could have done more weight but my tris were shot at this point. Haven't done cable rows in a while and was pleasantly surprised at how strong I was on them. My form got a little loose on the top set but still way better than it used to be. Good times.

Finished up with some gun work. Saw Dave Tate doing this curl variation and it is damned hard. Should build good forearm strength for controlling benches.

Overall today was good. Very quick, short rests between sets, lots of volume and a killer pump for the bros. Good times. Now to eat a LOT to recover
