So the girls are back home as of yesterday. Feels great to be together as a proper family

FIRST SESSION BACK POST BABY ARRIVAL

Normally my weekend sessions are my dynamic ones. As I had missed yesterday's dynamic bench and as I had not lifted for 1.5weeks, I thought I'd get some practice in on the big 3 and do two dynamic days rolled into one with no assistance work. Here's how it went:

Speed squats
Deep heat lower back and stretch
Feel awful
Bar x lots
Feel awful
Add blue bands
Bar x lots
Still awful
60kg's x 4
No change
90kg's for 8 sets of 2
Started feeling better by set 4 and by set 8 I was killing it. Each set was faster than the last.

Speed bench
Bar x a few
Add red bands
Bar x a few
50kg's x 3
70kg's for 8 sets of 3
Felt nicely warmed up after squats and bench felt good. Fast and VERY light.

Speed deadlifts
60kg's + doubled green band x 3
90kg's + dbl green for 9 singles
Was planning on 8 singles but the last one I let my chest come forwards a bit so I did another one to make sure I finished strong.

Nothing too heavy although on minimal sleep and minimal training, it was still reasonably challenging. All done in about 75minutes as I was reasonably slow inbetween sets at the start of the session. Felt great to be back at it again.
