Wednesday Squat'O'Clock

just a little info on my squating. about 6-7 months ago i started sumo style and began wearing a single ply squat brief to help protect my hips and groin. which is all well and good but i don't want my #'s to solely rely on gear. so now i don't put my belt and wraps on till i do my heavier sets to try to build my true leg strength..........................here we go.

squats

225x6
275x3 (belt)
315x3 (belt)
365x2 (belt, wraps)
365x2 (belt, wraps)
275x7 (belt)

no briefs worn today for the first time in a while and felt real good about those #'s. it is definitely a different feeling with them off. my hips tend to dance around and seem totally out of the groove. with them on one week ago i set a PR of 435 i think the best i could have done would have been 385.

hack sled

180x8
270x6
360x6
410x3

leg press calf raises

200x25,25,15

crushed dem tooth picks then came home and ate a ton!! weight is 191 right now. its goin to feel great to be over 200 again but this time without a belly. well i shouldn't say that. i should say without a belly that sticks past my chest. the theory for now is if my waist grows out then i need to make my chest keep up! to be totally honest i could really care less at this point how puffy i get my goal this year and the next is to just bloat like a wood tick then chisle it off and see what we got. i refuse to go back and finish second again.
