Thanks man! And honestly I would have to say it was two things. # 1 would be self confidence. It's crazy how much of a factor that plays in of my lifting and progress. For the longest time seeing 5 plates on the bar was so intimidating. But now that I'm past it and the way 515 felt last night , 530-550 is not far off at all. And secondly , I'd honestly have to say doing alot less lower body work helped alot. I was trying to do metal militia bench with two lower body days....... REAL bad decision. Now that I back off on that I'm a lot fresher on my bench days and recover easier. The last thing I would say is alot more tricep focus with my bench. I've noticed a huge difference in my lockout power which carry's over huge in geared bench.

That's good. I changed my raw technique last year to bring the grip in closer and use more triceps. Hoping more raw work with that technique carries over when I get back in the shirt soon.

Tuesday:

Well had a pretty interesting night at bench training. Was going for a PR tonight of 530 and it felt pretty good and was 100% sure it was going back up. well..... it got about an inch above touching and ....... BOOOM!!! shirt blew out! If my training partners would not of been side spotting and someone standing over me I could be seriously injured or in the hospital. My shoulders actually kinda hurt from handling 530 raw for like a second lol. The Lord was with me tonight, and it looks like it's time to get a new bench shirt.

Inzer Double Denim. About to post a picture. I got it from muscleG cause I had grew out of my rageX. The shirt is 7 years old and had just a small nitch in the collar which is wear the split started.
