BACK IN THE SADDLE

Very happy with the workout... I was sensible and didnt push too hard

Squats felt OK, I used deep heat before the session and Ibugel afterwards, plus started taking Glocosamine today as well. There was a slight discomfort at around rep 5/6 on each set but felt loads better. I lower the bar position a bit and tried to sit back even more and keep the shins as vertical as possible. I went to past parallel, but didnt go ATG as then the shins would have come forward more, it was kinda like a box squat, without the box lol

Upped weight on SLDL again, these are going really well (obviously the Hams were not as worked from the squat though), but I think there is some growth happening in teh Hammies at the minute

Rows were brutal and grip was starting to fail on the second set, so may use straps in future as i want to hit the back as hard as possible and dont want my grip to limit this.

Presses were work, but added a rep. i will try for another rep in the second set next session.

Bench was OK, but was work, so I just maintained at the same reps as last session as the extra Pressing will mean this it still progression.

Curls were good and i felt strong and repped out on the last set.

Dips were AWESOME. hit the 30 reps, i actually got a few funny looks as I shouted "YES" at the end of the set, but it pooped me for the next two sets and i actually dropped a couple of reps in total.

Maintained Calves and Abs again.

Total workout time about an hour. Workout Grade A.

Feels good to be back

Carl.
Just noticed how much work you do in an hour. You must be moving faster then you think you are. Great job! Up on reps on most everything and a PB to boot. A+

Cheers amte. it was about an hour and 5 mins, plus warm up.... But yeh i do move through it pretty quick.

90 seconds rest on compounds, 60 seconds on isolations (so Curls and Calves) and it was about 40 second on dips. Plus i only wait as long as it takes to set myself up and get my breath between sets... i like keeping the intensity up as it makes me feel like I am burning fat too, as normally i am too wiped to do cardio or dont have the time

Carl.

30 dips

Been real busy, didn't even get to lift yesterday.

Daughter has been running a fever since Friday, and it hit 104 yesterday.

We think alike. I try to move fast and avoid cardio.
