When I get back from my road trip you will be around 12 weeks on the program. I might not to get to check in as much as I'd like this next month, but just wanted to say keep charging hard!

And I like the phrase about the national idiot curling day. Those guys are in every gym. Like the ones that do about ten exercises for the chest but don't even hit their legs once. Saw one of those just today.

Have you ever tried rope skipping? I find it much more enjoyable than running or the eliptical or the cross running-thning.

Reeves Classic, Week 8 - Day 1

Squats (ATG)
80kg x 12
90kg x 11 upped reps
120kg x 8

SLDL
72.5kg x 10
75kg x 10 upped weight

DB Rows
35kg x 12
40kg x 10 upped reps
40kg x 8

DB Shoulder Press
17.5 kg x 12
22kg x 10
25kg x 9 upped reps

DB Bench Press
27.5kg x 12
30kg x 12 upped reps
32.5kg x 8

BB Curls (alternating)
25kg x 12
30kg x 10 upped reps
30kg x 8

Dips
BW x 24
BW x 11
BW x 10 - 45 total

BB Calf Raises
130kg x 20
130kg x 15
130kg x 15 held steady here

Crunch Chair
35kg x 15
35kg x 15
35kg x 15 upped reps

Solid session.

My weights are now correct across everything for me to push on properly now. I added a rep to the second set of squats and resisted the urge to do more. the third set is just right at the minute... I upped the weight on the SLDL second set and got all 10 so ill add weight to the first set next week too.

Rows were good and felt like work. Ill just keep adding a rep to the second set here for the moment.

Presses went well and I added a rep to the final set here. Hopefully will be up repping with the 30's soon

I dropped the weight of the first set on bench today and will keep set 1 and 2 at the weight they are for a while and just concentrate on getting the weight of the third up (once i have increased all the reps). I want to be repping the 40's here asap...

I stuck with BB curl, i much prefer it, i think the way i was doing the dumbbell curls was using too much forearm (which get hits with the deads and rows anyway) the BB seems to focus the effort on the bis much better

I dropped the last set of dips and I am just gonna try for AMAP on 3 sets for the time being, the idea her is to get the first set up to 50 reps Im almost half way there lol

Calves were hard and I held the weight and reps steady as these are working me plenty at the minute.

I increased reps on the abs so will up the resistance next session

Total workout time 1 hour 5 mins. Grade A- today

Carl.
