yeah good point. I guess starting at 100kg isnt gonna have me waiting that much longer for the 125kg bench that I need to hit a 1000lb total...

Bench felt more stable today though, I kept my feet out wider and DEFINITELY pushed through my heels too, one rep I must have been a bit out of groove and pushing with the legs actually helped me get it back in line. One thing I keep forgetting is to get the bar moving back slightly towards the rack ( i think thats right), I keep pushing straight up from the chest bb'er style... or am i all arse about **** with this ??

Thanks mate, I am really looking forward to it. I am going to eat my way to a 125kg bench before Christmas

Mrs LtL announced yesterday, absolutely deadpan seriously, that although I was obviously fatter than she's ever seen me, I'm carrying it better as I'm more muscular as well. I think that's a compliment

I have noticed my bench is feeling a lot more stable with my added mass. I'm sure if you bulk up some, your bench numbers will follow the scale.

Im am hoping to add about 5-8kg between now and Christmas and hopefully half of that will be muscle

Im thinking at 90-92kg I should be pushing for a 125kg bench at least by Christmas time and I hope Ill get a bit of growth in the chest/shoulders too

Fantastic effort to get to even 36 reps Carl, which is still an amazing accomplishment. Even more impressive was your desire to beat your world record from just a couple of weeks ago

You guys are lucky you have more understanding wives when it comes to the weight gain. Mrs Squatter still thinks I was a nutcase for gaining so much weight intentionally last time and just doesn't understand. I had absolutely zero support from anyone in my family during that bulk.
