It's a learning experience. Just make sure you are constantly watching how your body does with the diet. You already do a great job logging your workouts. Keep that up and make sure the diet isn't effecting your strength levels

My only advice is to take it easy on cardio for at least a couple weeks while you settle into the diet.

If you continue to train hard (which I know you will) you should hold most of your muscle.

Have you ever taken BCAAs? I might suggest a few each day in between major meals. Not sure if IA recommends that on this approach, but I know he does on the Warrior Diet approach.

They appear to help me, so I use them like an insurance plan.

Like btb said let the diet do the work first. Then slowly add in the cardio. I made that mistake of doing too much cardio in the beginning of my cut and I was dropping weight way too fast. Ease into the cardio and let the diet do it's job. When the weight loss slows down then you can incorporate cardio

I am not gonna cardio at all to start with. i figure the more things i change the less I will knoe exactly what it is that is working. So workouts will remain the same and diet will just be adjusted to start with. I take BCAA's intra-workout at the minute, but I was thinking of perhaps sipping on them throughout the day also. if i feel i am losing too much (or too little) weight then the diet will be easy to adjust.

Eder Hybrid, Week 4 - Day 1

**I NEVER MET A PB I DIDNT LIKE**

Power Clean and Press
40kg x 3
40kg x 3
55kg x 3
60kg x 3
65kg x 3 PB

Squats
80kg x 8
100kg x 8
120kg x 8 - upped reps +3
130kg x 6 - upped weight nd reps
140kg x 5 - upped weight PBR

WGCU
10/8/7/4/4 - 33 total - upped reps +1

Snatch Grip BHTNP
40kg x 10 - dropped weight
45kg x 10
50kg x 7 - upped weight PB

DB Bench
30kg x 10 - upped reps +2
35kg x 8
40kg x 7

Done.

Heavy session today... Only down side was C+P form wasnt great, i struggled getting my elbows through and when i did it was hard on the wrists still i have some more coaching on wednesday so hopefully we'll work on it. I still hit a pb though, so not all bad.

Squats were good, and although its not the heaviest i have ever squatted its definitely the most reps at 3pps. A squat PB has been a long time coming with squatting more often and the knee issues i thought it was never gonna happen, but hopefully now with in a couple of months i will be repping my old 2 rep mas (150kg). I had to lie down for a couple of minutes after it was done though as the lower back pump from the squats and cleans was immense.

WGPU were good and i added a rep, just, I almost puked doing it though and started to spin out for a while lol

BHTNP went well, but my shoulders were fried and i couldnt get an 8h rep at the top weight, but ill keep these weights now and build on it.

Bench was OK I added a couple of reps to the first set and still s
kept the remainder the same so its progress

I was gonna do some curls, but i was fried and feeling sicker every minute, my BCAA's almost came back up in the changing room after so glad i called it a day, curls will be in there on session 1 from ow on though.

Total workout time 55 mins. Solid grade A+

Bring on Wednesday....

Carl.

Great improvements there, Carl, both visually and in the amounts of weight moved! Keep it up
