I think the doctor would tell me to not do any weights ever. He told my parents (they are like 45 and healthy) they should only do a walk 15 minute walk 3 or 4 times a week to stay fit....

Oh man that sucks, I blew mine out a while back dead-lifting. It sounds like a pop when I was pulling and then my right side just went limp. The pain went though my ass down my leg and made my big toe numb for months! It was a pain in the ass LITERALY. Sitting was like sitting on fire.
