I'll probably move to a slightly higher box and switch to a safety bar. Need to reinforce that upper back to avoid "caving in" under heavy weights. The higher box will work my sticking point. I'll probably start with a dynamic day at about 50-55%, and move up from there.

Thanks bro. I think a lifter is just not a good home for cancer. My goal was to go heavy and just scare the sh*t out of it. All joking aside, I was real freakin lucky, and I am glad I am well connected with medical practitioners. How quickly you get treated has a huge impact. Now I can move on smashing some iron.

Today was a max effort day involving dumbbell floor presses. The goal was to squeeze out a few reps out of some heavy dumbbells, and do some assistance work on triceps and delts. I wrapped things up with some abs work and a big protein shake.

Floor DB press:
warmup:
50 x 8
70 x 6
90 x 6
main sets:
100 x 7
100 x 4
cooldown:
70 x 13

Triceps dips:
body weight x 5
25 x 5
45 x 5
90 x 5
superset: 115 x 3, 90 x 3, 45 x 3, body weight x 6

Rolling DB extensions:
35 x 10
35 x 8
35 x 8

Upright rows:
95 x 10 x 3 sets

Abs work (cable crunches, side bends)
