yeah, I considered KBs for a few months before making the decision to get some and am really glad I did since they give a whole new dimension to training.

Hope the wife enjoys the pressie. They are great, I have to admit; though not sure what weight you'd have to start with and you'd have to work out the handle size carefully especially if you have hands on the larger size etc. very helpful if you can get to try stuff out, whereas I had to go by what I could see on the internet, thankfully it turned out okay. I do have links to a couple of youtube vids that discuss various KBs and coatings etc if you want I can put those up.

They are great for cardio, no running req'd
