I must catch up to JDmalm with all the bench dips he's doing. Only mine will be full BW dips. His numbers are making me look bad.

Thanks, but that was really light. I've been holding back to really see just how much I am going to be able to do. without causing myself to crash.

Monday was a partial answer to that.

I think just working squatting for awhile, with no deadlifting, or BB rowing will allow me to progress in that area.

Keeping cleans fairly light and working up slowly will be plenty of work when coupled with lots of wide grip chins, and pressing.

I will be sticking some overhead squatting in as well. I must get my lower back brought back up in strength. I'll be pretty much stuck if i can't get it back to where it was. I'm 48, closer to 49, but I still have things I want to accomplish with a barbell in my hands.

Its helluva difference between bench dips and hanging free dips imo, you got a whole other motion and have to get in balance and involve more muscles due too that. 50+ dips a workout is great work!


Thanks for noticing bro! Rackpulls are a fun lift, not doing them to often though -quite taxing when moving up in weight!

Went back out and did another 20 wide grips, cause I wasn't happy with only 26.

Total for the day is 46.

Friday I will do 50 for the day.

I better enjoy being 40 while I still can. I've almost run the full course. I'm way closer to 50.
